Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Requirement to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.
- Requirement to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.
- Capability to adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.
- Capability to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.
- Responsibility to service attachments and working tools to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.
- Expectation to test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets the specifications of the manufacturer to ensure proper quality of work.
- Requirement to perform heavy truck repair work to ensure proper maintenance and safety in the workplace.

- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry to ensure proper knowledge and expertise.

- The candidate should be bondable and easily communicate.
Own Tools/Equipment
- The candidate must have their own steel-toed safety boots.
