Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements to ensure proper communication and understanding.
- Responsibility for developing website architecture as well as determining hardware and software requirements to ensure proper functionality and efficiency in the website.
- Expectation to source, select, and organise information for inclusion, as well as design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website to ensure proper design and user experience.
- Conduct tests as well as perform security and quality controls to ensure proper functionality and security of the website.
- Plan, design, write, modify, integrate, and test website-related code to ensure proper functionality and efficiency of the website.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to ensure proper functionality and efficiency of the website.
- Capability to recognise and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to ensure proper communication and understanding with colleagues and clients.
- Requirement to prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software to ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with regulations.
- Expectation to maintain existing computer programmes by making changes as needed to ensure proper functionality and efficiency of the website.
